UNIQA is renewing their Core Insurance systems to a new modern architecture.
For this very strongly customer-oriented project we are looking for a Infrastructure Solution Architect (m/f/d) who will play an important role in this project. The infrastructure solution architecture elaborates future-proof solutions together to bring our new Core Insurance System into operation.
If you want to join us in this very challenging and future-oriented journey, the following tasks await you:
• You design the appropriate runtime infrastructure together with our implementation tean, operation team and partners to ensure the runnability of the Java based UNIQA Insurance Platform (UIP)
• You are responsible for the design and maintenance of the build and deployment chain, in conjunction with the application development team
• You support in setting up new systems together with the data centers and vendors
• You are a technical contact for external partners in this project
• You ensure conformance to the planned architecture, technical quality of implementations, and fulfillment of non-functional requirements
• You continuously evolve internal systems with the enterprise architecture group and development teams, reducing IT complexity and optimizing the IT landscape

Other skills and prerequisites
Required Skills:
• To fulfill the purpose of this function you have an expert knowledge of concept development and documentation of IT-Architecture.
• You have a broad overview of state-of-the-art architectural methodologies, techniques and technologies
• You have expert knowledge in technical IT infrastructure (HW, platforms, network/network services, storage, security) and integrating cloud solutions
• You have a good knowledge in the area of Devops tooling and concepts
• You have a good knowledge of Red Hat Linux, VMWare, Container, Ansible, Kubernetes/OpenShift
• You are used to work independently and to gather actively the information you need for your assigned tasks
• You are also able to work in a distributed and remote team
• Fluent English verbal and written communications skills are a must.
